SYNOPSIS

Nowadays  there is a growing interest in the study, design and fabrication of nanoscale structures and their integration into large and complex interacting systems. It is possible to explore the behaviour of these systems using a wide array of optical and spectral imaging tools, such as Raman spectroscopy, surface enhanced ellipsometric contrast microscopy and many others.

Imaging and spectroscopy are often the cheapest and simpler way through which a material can be characterized. These wide array of technologies are often non destructive and are usually able to address materials characterization needs.

All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered; the point is to discover them.
