CURRICULUM VITAE
Luca Ortolani, Researcher at IMM-CNR. He received the Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Bologna in 2009, working on the electron microscopy characterization of low-dimensional carbon allotropes (fullerenes, nanotubes and graphene). His current research focuses on the development of advanced electron microscopy techniques and on the technological integration of 2D materials with conventional silicon technology. His main expertise is in the field of the structural and analytical characterization of 2D materials using electron microscopies, and in the use of electron and ion beam techniques for nano-patterning and nano-machining. He is author of more than 50 publications in international journals, he has an H-Index of 15, and his works were cited more than 900 times.
