CURRICULUM VITAE
Onofrio Antonino Cacioppo has a M.S. degree in physics from Padova University.
He started his career working in Texas Instruments Italy since 1990 as Process Development Engineer for the consumer products division. In 1995 he joined the Avezzano Texas Instruments wafer FAB organization as Failure Analysis Engineer.
Since 1998 he joined Micron Technology company as Failure Analysis lead engineer.
In 2004 has been appointed Yield Enhancement Section Manager. While staying in this role he got the responsibility to lead a corporate wide program to introduce the quality methods (FMEA, Control Plan and 8D problem solving) in Micron.
Since 2015 he has the responsibility to manage the LFoundry Physical and Failure analysis laboratories.
Under this role he has also the responsibility to manage the LFoundry Open Lab Project which aim is to create a network of analytical tools and skills from research centers, universities and industries capable to support the research and industrial development in nanoscience.
He holds an European patent and is author or co-author of several scientific papers.
