Ottiene il dottorato in scienze della terra e lavora come assegnista di ricerca presso CNR-ISTEC nel settore delle scienze dei materiali. Nel 2006 è Responsabile del settore R&D di TRE-Tozzi Renewable Energy e Direttore Generale delle 2 start-up Tozzi Nord Wind Turbines e Daunia Solar Cells. Dal 2013 co-gestisce per il Dhitech – Distretto Tecnologico High Tech Pugliese - il Nanotechnology Living Lab e il progetto NanoApulia. Ha lavorato per Aster come direttore del Climate-KIC RIC dell’Emilia Romagna ed esperto tecnico Van Guard nel settore Offshore Energy e Nanotechnology. Collabora con Certimac, centro di ricerca nel settore dei materiali per l’edilizia, e con il Centro per l’innovazione della Fondazione Flaminia. E’ coautore di oltre 50 pubblicazioni, coinventore di 5 domande di brevetto e professore a contratto presso l’Università di Ferrara.
He got his Phd in Earth Sciences while working as temporary researcher at the CNR-ISTEC in the field of materials science. In 2006 he was R&D Manager at the TRE-Tozzi Renewable Energy and General Manager of the 2 start-up Tozzi Nord Wind Turbines and Daunia Solar Cells. Since 2013 he co-manages for the Dhitech - Apulia District of High Technology - the Nanotechnology Living Lab and the NanoApulia Project. He worked for Aster as Director of the Emilia Romagna RIC of the Climate-KIC and as technical expert for the Van Guard on Offshore Energy and Nanotechnology. He collaborates with Certimac, research centre on materials for buildings, and with the Fondazione Flaminia Innovation Centre. He is co-author of more than 50 scientific papers, 5 international patents and temporary professor at the University of Ferrara.
