Sebastiano RAVESI

Sebastiano Ravesi received the M. Sc. degree in Physics, with honors, in 1989 and the Ph.D. degree in Physics in 1993, both from the University of Catania, Italy. He joined to STMicroelectronics in 1994, in the R&D team, as process engineer in the thin films area. He did contribute along the years to the incubation of different new branches of activities in the premise of the company, namely FeRAM, very high density capacitors, TFT on flexible substrates, photovoltaics. He is actually member of the Office of the General Manager of ADG/R&D Power & Discrete Technologies, in charge of Disruptive Technology. He has been and is responsible of different national and EC funded research projects. He leads the graphene related activities in the company since 2011 and is the Flexible Electronics Workpackage Deputy Leader of EC funded Graphene Flagship. He is author of tens of peer-reviewed publications and tens of filed patents.
