Emmanuele Massagli is President of ADAPT and ADAPT’s Senior Research Fellow. He is Adjunct Lecturer in “Pedagogy of work” and “People’s Welfare” at the University of Bergamo. He is also a member of the Teaching Faculty of the International Doctoral School in Human Capital Formation and Labour Relations at the University of Bergamo (Italy). He holds a Doctoral Degree in Labour Relations and a research grant at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy). From 2009 to 2011 he served as the coordinator of the technical secretariat of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies and was the Minister’s consultant. He also contributes to a number of newspapers and periodicals. He published a number of publications and was invited as a speaker to many national and international conferences. He an interest in workers’ occupational welfare, economics of education, labour economics, vocational training, apprenticeships and school-to-work alternation, labour relations and its history.
