Dr. Chang-Chung Yang received his B.S. and M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University, Taiwan in 1998 and 2000, respectively. He was awarded the Ph.D degree from National Taiwan University in 2005 and was recommended by National Science Council of Taiwan to be a visiting scholar in Dept. of Materials Science & Engineering, Univ. of Washington, WA, USA. Since then he joined New Energy Technology Division in Industrial Technology Research Institute and was also the sub-project leader of Organic Photovoltaic Cell Project (2006), the project leader of High Efficiency Thermoelectric Materials (2007-2008) and the project leader of Hydrogen Infrastructure Technology (2009-2012). He is currently the project leader of Distributed Gird-scale Electricity Storage Technology (2012-2016). His research interests focus on the synthesis and characterization of specially designed molecules and nano-materials for energy harvesting, conversion and storage.
