Daniele Ielmini, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria, Politecnico di Milano. He held visiting positions at Intel Corporation (2006), Stanford University (2006) and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2010). His most recent research interests include the modeling and the characterization of emerging nonvolatile memories, such as phase change memory (PCM) and resistive switching memory (RRAM). He coedited 1 book, and authored/coauthored more than 250 papers published in international journals and presented at international conferences. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE. He received the Intel Outstanding Researcher Award in 2013, the ERC Consolidator Grant in 2014, and the IEEE Rappaport Award in 2015.
