Sara NICOLI
University of Parma

 Sara Nicoli graduated in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology in 1997 at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Parma (Italy). She received her Ph.D. in Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics, from the University of Parma (Italy) and the University of Paris XI (France). She became Assistant Professor at the University of Parma in 2004. From january 2005 to october 2005 she spent a period of research in the laboratories of the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmacology of the University of Bath (UK)

From October 1st, 2014, she is Associate Professor at the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Parma (Italy)


She has published more than 60 scientific papers, 1 patent and numerous conference communications. 


Her research activity is focused on drug delivery by the ocular and transdermal routes. The research is oriented to the study of innovative formulations and innovative techniques for the delivery of drugs to the anterior and posterior segment of the eye and to the skin.
