Marcello Alecci is associate professor of Applied Physics at the University of L'Aquila. His main scientific interest is the physical understanding and technological advancement of Electron and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and its application in Biology and Medicine. Current research interest includes the experimental characterization of graphene-based nanomaterials as contrast agents for MRI applications. He holds 10 patents and has published more then 270 papers and conference abstracts. He has extensive experience in intellectual property and technology transfer.
