Giulia Fioravanti is an Assistant Professor at the University of L'Aquila, in the Department of Physical and Chemical Science (from 2008).
From 2008 to 2012 she held “Chemistry” courses for Engineering, and from 2013 holds the course of “Chemistry of Surfaces and Interfaces” for Chemical Engineering and Chemical Sciences.
Graduated in Chemistry, in 2003 she received her PhD in Materials Engineering and Materials at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, and from 2003 to 2008 she was a post-doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Bologna, at the Department of Chemistry.
She deals with standard organic synthesis and surface chemical modification by Self-Assembling Monolayers (SAMs) approach. Her current research interests are focalized on the synthesis and characterization of Graphene Oxide derivatives, for applications in the medical field.
