Gianluca MILANO

 Gianluca Milano was born in Bra, Italy, in 1991. He obtained his bachelor degree in physics cum laude at the University of Torino in 2013. He continued his studies in physics at the University of Torino, following the Advanced Technologies curriculum, and he received his master degree in 2015 with honours. His thesis work, carried out at the Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica (INRiM), was devoted to production and characterization of graphene. He is now a PhD candidate at Politecnico di Torino and at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), working in the field of memristors. His current research activities involve nanostructured materials, semiconductor nanowires and deposition techniques for metal oxides.
